Technics SL 110 - Sme 3009

Technics has made some very reliable direct drive turntabes.
Here is an example from 1975. The  huge and heavy (13kg  without  tonearm)  SL 110  pair with a SME 3009.

Thorens TD 124 MKII

The legendary TD124MKII after full restoration.The arm is the SAEC WE 308SX with the Zonotone z-shell headshell.The plinth is made from 4 layers of 2 different ply woods wraped with 5cm solid oak and veneered with burled oak.

Lowther P6M Ticonal

This is the early '57 version with square chassis and titanium & cobalt as ingredients on it's magnet, in contrary to the new Alnico series. They have the new foldered wizzer cones, new surrounding foam and new silver coils from Lowther. Extremely rare .

Two speed 33.3 - 45 rpm ,4pole synchronous motor,tonearm lift and antiskating with bias weight.

RCA Victor 45J

RCA Victor 45J

45 rpm record player  with automatic changer  from RCA Victor.

It was manufactured between 1949-1951.

This unit designed to play through a tube radio equipped a phono input.It doesn’t  have an amplifier or speaker.Housed in a deep brown Bakelite casing ,the unit allowed multiple 45 RPM records to be stacked on the spindle.

Rogers JR149 Loudspeakers

 Jim Rogers JR-149 monitor speakers using the
same KEF drive units as the famous LS3/5A (B 110 and T27),but housed in a heavy aluminium
cylinder with wooden end caps.
Power rating 60 watts ,8-16 ohms.

Garrard 4HF

1957 Garrard released  the  4HF.

This  model  was  in  production  until  1965,

by  which  time about  100.000 units

had  been  produced.

It  had  the famous  TPA 12  inch  transcriptions

Sony PS-Q7

SONY  PS-Q7  Record player  Turntable

PS Q7 is a quarter- sized record player, automatic, direct drive,

With built-in headphones  amplifier.

Since 1982 Sony created a very cute portable turntable,

available in red ,silver and black color.

It has a small aluminium platter 78mm, and two speeds 33-45

A dynamic balanced low mass tonearm and moving magnet

cartridge allow the stylus to track with greater accuracy.
